Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi, To Be Replaced By Octavio De Lazari Junior

Octavio de Lazari Junior, will be replacing the current president of Bradesco, Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi. Octavio de Lazari Junior will officially become president of the banking giant after the AGO (Ordinary General Assembly) meeting scheduled for March 12th 2018. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi, also detailed the retirement of Lazaro Brandao and the new Vice President Carlos Alberto Rodrigues Guilherme.

Bradesco was founded in 1943 in Marilia and has since grown to be one of the largest banking institutions in Brazil. With a large omnipresence in the country Bradesco, is very influential, with some many changes on the horizon, Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi expressed his understanding of the anticipation and concerns moving forward.

Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi has been the president of Bradesco since 2003. Over the years Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi has worked in many facets of the banking giant’s conglomerate. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi began his career in with Bradesco as a bank clerk in his and banks founding city of Marilia in 1969. Relocating to Sao Paulo in 1971, Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi became the Director of Marketing by 1984. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi as Director of Marketing redefined the relationship the bank had the with media, implementing a more open and transparent culture. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi, from 1992 to 1998 became the executive director and president of Bradesco’s private pension division. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi would be vice president in 1999, and finally appointed president in 2003. Under the leadership of Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi increased net income from 25% to 35%. Octavio de Lazari Junior is 54 years of age and is currently the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Bradesco Seguros (Insurance) Group. Octavio de Lazari Junio has been with the company since 1978, becoming an agency manager by 1998. Octavio de Lazari Junio was promoted to Department Director of Loans and Financing. By 2012 Octavio de Lazari Junio would be appointed to the Board of Directors until 2017 when he became Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Bradesco Seguros Group. Octavio de Lazari Junio earned his Graduates degree in economics from Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and he has a specialization in Financial Strategies and Marketing from Fundacao Instituto de Administracao.

Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi revealed Lazaro Brandao given a written statement announcing his retirement from Bradesco Board of Directors. The 91 year old economist has been with Bradesco for 75 years, and has served on the council for the past 27 years. Lazaro Brandao had explained he increased the age restriction to 67 years to allow more time to appoint the correct replacement for the presidency of the company. Carlos Alberto Rodrigues Guilherme has been confirmed by Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi to become the vice president in lieu of Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi stepping down.
